The best beaches in Alghero
1. Le Bombarde beach
The Bombarde beach this stretch is turquoise with transparent and fresh water. Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub behind it, there is a very thick pine forest. A little less than 1 km long generally it tends to be crowded especially at weekends in July and August.

How to get there: from the SS 127 BIS direction to Fertilia. You will find the junction for Spiaggia Bombarde on the same main road.

2. Lazzaretto beach
The beach of Lazzaretto owes its name to the tower situated in the small rocky promontory.. It is framed by sandstone rocks and a verdant area that divides it from the Bombarde Beach. Renowned for its particularly transparent and icy water. It is surrounded by numerous coves that can be reached by internal aisles to the Mediterranean macchia

3. Punta Negra
The beach of Punta Negra is a small bay located near Fertilia. Dominated by the presence of the homonymous Hotel Punta Negra, it is an ideal place to spend pleasant hours in total relaxation. Restored by the wind. Not a busy beach, so ideal for those looking for a quiet corner.

5. Cala Dragunara
At the foot of Capo Caccia’s cliff and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, this delightful sand and rocks. From the pier of Cala Dragunara, where to take the boat that goes to the Neptune Caves.

One of the largest beaches in the area north of Alghero. Large free beach located on the border between Alghero and Sassari. Characterized by the large sandy dunes of reddish color.
